Perfectly cooked pastas the Italian way. Terrific pizza that is competitive with the other nearby gourmet pizza places. Really enjoyed their funghi pizza. Glad they added espresso to the menu :) All ingredients taste high quality. Nice outdoor seating.
The food was so good! We got the clam pizza and the bucatini. The sauce on the bucatini was amazing. The service was great. Everyone is super friendly and the food came out fast. The place was very clean. Will definitely go back.
Arrived at the perfect time of day. Wasn't crowded, you order at the counter, pay then seat yourself. Service was good, food came out quickly. We had the pesto pasta it was delicious! Followed by the chicken parmigiana and pizza with sausage béchamel and fennel. Definitely will come try other things next time.
My new favorite eatery, so delicious. A very cozy corner Italian fast casual restaurant. Order at counter and they bring food to your table. Very fresh ingredients, all made to order. Really enjoyed the Fritto Misto, very lightly fried served with an awesome ricotta dip. The Shrimp Polenta was cooked perfectly, had a nice lemony bite. I've had the Funghi pizza twice now, very tasty, better with added pepper flakes.
I want to return to Boschetto immediately. From the beautiful interior that transports you to Italy to the absolutely incredible food - there's nothing not to love. the sausage pie was to die for. The flavors were so balanced with the homemade sausage to the lemon rind microplaned on top. I usually don't eat all my crust but I was eating every last crumb. I could not get enough of the spring pea carbonara (a special) - supremely creamy and tasty. The chicken parm sandwich was very tasty - the bread they use is the same dough as their pizza crust and it was so good. no dislikes. This fast-casual-ish Italian spot is a must go!
New Italian restaurant in Montclair! They've only been open for 6 months so everything looks pretty new. It's a more casual place because they take your order and you pay ahead in the front before seating yourself in the back. The noodle dishes were really good and well seasoned! Tasted very authentic and fresh. I hadn't tasted pasta like that in a very long time. We were told that the pasta noodles were imported from Italy! They are located next to an Italian market so that makes them even more legit! Would come back to try other dishes.
Great service which may have you concerned when you place your order as you tip prior to being served. Nonetheless they did not disappoint. The BYOB which is typical for Montclair is great. You should also try the polenta with shrimp which is to die for.
